Hi nate, I upgraded my blog last weekend, all by my lonesome! Woohoo! Now I can upload and resize pictures with impunity. Someday I will actually fix my theme so that all the tabs go somewhere and the links make sense.

I use Google Reader but I don't like it. It seems to work like Google search does, relying on the cache instead of live data. Often the stuff in the reader is about a day out of date. I will try Sage instead.

I may submit to This Land sometime. Most of my Christian-y musings end up on saltsite.com, a monthly. Don't know if I got much more in me than that.

Nate - I've been using 'Sage' - a Firefox RSS plugin for aggregating blogs - it gives a decent UI and summary feed, and I usually click through to the actual site to read any post that looks interesting. Works well so far; I like it better than bloglines (haven't tried Google Reader) but of course it limits you to the machine where all your bookmarks are. You might find it worth a test-drive.
